LG.  Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? (Age, location, how did you get started)

LD.  LaLa Dickinson aka "The Beauty", born and raised in the peach state, currently residing in Atlanta GA. I got my start early on as a teen, but reintroduced myself into the industry again last fall of 2010.

LG.  Five years from now, where do you see yourself?

LD.  My plans for the future are to own a promotion and marketing firm and modeling agency, and also to continue to consult beauty pageant contestants.

LG.  What Type of Model would you be considered?

LD.  I consider myself a universal model. I’m able to adapt to any concept. I may not be runway size but I can walk with the best of them.

LG.  What is a big pet peeve of yours from the industry?

LD.  Arrogance and the absence of manners.

LG.  What’s the secret of you looking always glamorous?

LD.  Exercise, cocoa butter, vitamins and supplements, and a complete skin care regimen.

LG.  Can you tell us and some of the challenges that you have came across?

LD.  Being classified as an urban model. I would love to change that label. African American models are more than that; we are models just like any other model. Why should we be labeled as such? I’m a professional model that can produce lifestyle, urban, eye candy, fetish, animation, and even art, so I refuse to be limited by labels.

LG.  What are some of your greatest achievements thus far?

LD.  I have yet to reach what I feel is a major accomplishment. I’m still striving for that greatness. The best is yet to come.

LG.  What is your ultimate goal for your career?

LD.  To be published in an international magazine. One that is read by millions of people of many different countries and cultures.

LG.  What was the craziest experience that you’ve had in the industry?

LD.  Walking out of an unprofessional photo-shoot.

LG.  Question, all the guys want to know… Are you single?

LD.  I knew this question was coming!

LG. What advice do you have for young women, trying to get in the industry?

LD.  Patience, persistence, networking, and manners will carry you far.
