Deeper Than a Photo #DTAP

LG.  Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? (Age, location, how did you get started)

ADM.  Well My Name is Ashley-Marie, At Birth I was Given two first Names,.. I Guess that's Why I Have a Double amount of Personality. I'm 19 years old and I'm From Virginia,.. Modeling was something I always wanted to two, growing up watching Americas Next Top Model, Never Missing a Show, Really Drove me to Start at an early age.  At The age of 16 I Met a Photographer who Saw Natural Beauty in Me, we did a Photoshoot and from there Magic Happened, I Loved Modeling and have Been Doing it Ever Since.

LG.  Five years from now, where do you see yourself?

ADM.  Well I'm currently a Med student, studying Medical assisting at Centura College, Next year I will have my Associates Degree, Then I will go on to getting my Masters,.. I Definitely See myself living in some upscale condo in New York Rocking all the Fashion shows I can Find , with a nursing Job on the Side. 

LG.  What Type of Model would you be considered?

ADM.  I’m considered as a Petite, High Fashion, Commercial , yet Sexy model,.. ha ha Call me Universal because I Do it ALL !

LG. What was your first Job?

ADM.  My first Job was a Telemarketing Sales Rep at an international Marketing association... it wasn't the best job but it paid well and at least it wasn't Fast food !

LG.  How do you deal with disappointment?

ADM.  When I’m disappointed I of course have a little feeling towards it,.. but I tend to look at the brighter side and Get over it,.. every failed mission is only bringing me closer to success =)

LG. Talk about your strength and weakness in Modeling?

ADM.  My Strength is basically my ability to connect with the camera, my poses and my Beauty are really eye catching,..I also have a very different and unique look that attracts Photographer , designers, stylists etc. I would like to say that my Weakness is sometimes when I’m shooting I tilt my head back, I guess I feel the moment a little too much and although its good sometimes it can make a beautiful shot look Horrible ha ha.

LG.  What is a big pet peeve of yours from the industry?

ADM.  My biggest Pet Peeve is that in this industry , Models, Photographers , Designers etc Like to come off Very arrogant and like they Know EVERY thing about modeling,.. so they try to talk down to you like your and stupid,.. I just don't like when people Try to belittle me.

LG.  What’s the secret of you always looking glamorous?

ADM.  Eating Healthy, and keeping up your hygiene !!

LG.  Can you tell us some of the challenges that you have come across?

ADM.  A Challenge I Have come across is, Knowing who to work with and who not to. Some photographers might Just want to expose your Body and not you as a model, so you have to watch out for that.

LG.  What are some of your greatest achievements thus far?

ADM.  Well, I have done a couple local Music videos in my Area & I Have multiple website features one of my most recent is at this link here ( http://onvalist.weebly.com/model-of-the-week.html  ) I also have a Model Promotion video that will be posted on a Well known website www.Worldstarhiphop.com Next month so be on the look out for that !

LG.  What is your ultimate goal for your career?

AMD.  I Want  to be in Vogue Magazine ! what ever I have to do I will make it happen !

LG.  What was the craziest experience that you’ve had in the industry? (story)

AMD.  Well I was doing a beach shoot and of course there were other people at the beach,.. everyone started watching, and taking pictures of there own,.. to others it may have felt awkward but for me it kind made me rock the shoot even more.

LG.  Question, all the guys want to know… Are you single?

AMD.  I'm currently in a relationship , no ring  so we'll see how this turns out ha ha 

LG.  What attracts you about a guy?

AMD.  A Guy who is Sweet at heart and can respect a woman,.. but still have a little naughty side ;)

LG.  Can you name a model everyone should look out for, other than you?

AMD.  Um I can’t think of one at the moment

LG. Tips for men who want to be your Mr. Right?

AMD.  1.  Well, first and foremost you have to be able to Make me Laugh & have a great personality

    2.  You have to  dress nice

    3.  Cologne is a MUST ! ha ha you have to Smell good !

    4.  Love dogs like me

    5.  Don’t be afraid to charm me with gifts ;) ha ha just kidding

LG.  What advice do you have for young women, trying to get in the industry?

AMD.  Always get a Second opinion from a professional in the industry on anything you do before signing with anyone ! you never want to let someone get over on you because in this industry it can happen real Fast ! Never Let No one tell you , that you can do something or that you will never be what you truly want to be,.. because if you work hard enough for it,.. you will get it! when Prayers go Up, Blessings Come Down.!
