Deeper than a Photo #DTAP

LG.  Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? (Age, location, how did you get started)

SP.  I am 21 yrs. old and I am originally from Montgomery, AL. I lived here most of my life but I have also lived in places like Virginia and South Carolina. I started modeling when I was 16 years old. I started out doing runway. I noticed how people immediately took to my look, they were always telling me how different I looked and how my body was naturally great. When I realized I was super photogenic, I was like hey I should capitalize on this! LOL

LG.  Five years from now, where do you see yourself?

SP.  Five years from now I see myself as an Internet sensation! I see my website soaring and an abundance of bookings!! Basically I see the dollar signs! Haha

LG.  What Type of Model would you be considered?

SP.  I consider myself a print, runway, and video model. Gotta be diverse ;-)) !!!

LG.  What was your first Job?

SP.  My first job was a carhop at Sonics Drive-In in when I was 16 years old! LOL I was on SKATES!!! 

LG.  How do you deal with disappointment?

SP.  Its just more motivation for me! I use it to push myself..

LG.  Talk about your strength and weakness in Modeling?

SP.  I'm very good at expressing different emotions on my face and through my body language. My weakness is allowing the glamour squad on site to do my hair and makeup LOL!! ARRGGGHHHH the thought makes me cringe!

LG.  What is a big pet peeve of yours from the industry?

SP.  Everybody is in it for themselves! None is honest or loyal anymore. What happen to MORALS people???

LG.  What’s the secret of you always looking glamorous?

SP.  Awesome makeup, great skin care, and bomb ass hair stylist of course! I've always loved makeup, I even collect it. I am actually a beauty consultant for a large department store right now, so I even get to work with makeup daily, teaching other people how to do their makeup and great skin care! Taking care of your skin is so important! You have to start now while you're young so you can stay youthful as long as possible! My hair means so much to me! I have a great stylist from Battle Creek, Michigan! I'm always expressing myself through different cuts, colors, and weaves LOL! But healthy hair is always a must!

LG.  Can you tell us some of the challenges that you have come across?

SP.  Having morals. So many times I've had to put my foot down and say NO! Whether it’s a shoot I'm not comfortable with or sleeping with someone to get further in the industry!

LG.  What are some of your greatest achievements thus far?

SP.  My website, its my portfolio. It’s a work in progress, but I'm proud of it.

LG.  What is your ultimate goal for your career?

SP.  I want to be a household name. I want to be in a place where I can change the lives of other young girls with my story.

LG.  What was the craziest experience that you’ve had in the industry? (story)

SP.  Once I got booked for a fashion show that I was really excited about. In the show a guy had to walk before me, he was suppose to stay at the end of the runway until I got there. Once I got to the end I did my thing, walking around him, caressing his chest, just being sexy! When I started to walk back down the runway, he pulled me by arm back to him and gave me a full blown out kiss! I was so shocked that I pulled away and stormed down the runway! I was so embarrassed but it made for a good show, plus I have to admit he was hott! LOL 

LG. Question, all the guys want to know… Are you single?

SP.  YES! #TeamNoKids 

LG.  What attracts you about a guy?

SP.  His total swag, the way he dresses and carries himself! I'm the girl that always falls for the tall, dark, and handsome! But he has to be successful and ambitious too!!

LG.  Can you name a model everyone should look out for, other than you? 

SP.  Yes my best friend Dionne Walters! She was a 3rd finalist on America's Next Top Model with Tyra Banks! I love Dionne and I see her doing bigger and better things!!!

LG.  Tips for men who want to be your Mr. Right?

SP.  When you approach me, please have on clean shoes and neat hair!

SP.  Stay true to yourself; never compromise your morals or who you are!
