LG.  Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? (Age, location, how did you get started)

Julz.  Business, money, pleasure - #mystory. I am 24yrs young will be 25 in July, currently reside in NY. I started modeling when I was younger but started going harder after the loss of my best friend in 2007. 

LG.  What's your favorite song right now? 

Julz.  Wild Boy - MGK ft. Waka Flocka

LG.  What Type of Model would you be considered?

Julz.  In all honesty, I’m a versatile model. I’ve done everything from runways to eye candy.

LG.  What was your first Job?

Julz.  First published modeling job was for NY Rider Magazine 2009 March issue.

LG.  How do you deal with disappointment?

Julz.  I don’t. Simple as that. I don’t set myself up for failure or disappointment. But in life some things are unexpected so when and if, I just zone out to the music.

LG.  Talk about your strength and weakness in Modeling?

Julz.  Modeling is my strength. I take direction very well and never hold back for the sake of the pictures/products. When I find my weakness, I’ll be sure to let you know! ;)

LG.  What is a big pet peeve of yours from the industry?

Julz.  Not so much a pet peeve, but so many are judgmental of who I am off of what I do. Pictures don’t make me who I am. 

LG.  What’s the secret of you always looking glamorous?

Julz.  There really is no secret. Just take care of yourself and learn to treat yourself to something amazing once in while!

LG.  Can you tell us some of the challenges that you have come across?

Julz.  I love challenges, in fact I invite them; if it’s easy, I don’t want it. Everyday is a challenge regardless what industry you are in. I just stay focused on my projects coming up, stay motivated and connected.

LG.  What are some of your greatest achievements thus far?

Julz.  Making it thru this crazy generation of mine with no children is a great achievement for myself that many cant say themselves. I have done a spread for the troops over seas, I was in Styles P On1/Off1 Freestyle Remix video, and so much more. All the projects I have encounter falls into the category of my greatest achievements, but the best is yet to come!

LG.  What is your ultimate goal for your career?

Julz.  To be successful in everything I encounter within this industry. Knowing that I actually worked hard to get to where I’m at and where I’m going, it’s not going to end anytime soon. I still have so much more to accomplish, this industry is tough but you have to remember who you truly are and what you can bring to the table to change the way others think about this industry.

LG.  What was the craziest experience that you’ve had in the industry? (story)

Julz.  Not so much a crazy experience because life is crazy! I enjoy the endless hours of shooting and flying. But an exciting experience was when a handful of people asked for my autograph for the first time. Some even had my pictures and the first magazine I was ever published in, out and ready for me to sign! It was kind of nutty to me because I’m not famous like Kim k or amber rose. I am Omella Julz, I do this for me but I also give my supporters what they want.

LG.  Question, all the guys want to know… Are you single?

Julz.  Yes I am. now accepting applications! lol ;)

LG.  What attracts you about a guy?

Julz.  Tallness/height, good hygiene, sense of humor, motivated, determined, goal oriented.

LG.  Can you name a model everyone should look out for, other than you? 

Julz.  In all honesty I cant. I work toooo hard to get to where I’m at and where I’m headed, I cant and wont get caught up on others just to lose focus on who Omella Julz really is. 

LG.  Tips for men who want to be your Mr. Right?

Julz.  Be yourself, be honest with yourself and then with me, communication is key so keep that line open, stay motivated, and do not depend on no one but yourself. That should do it for now. ;)

LG.  Twitter or Facebook? Which do you prefer? 

Julz.  Twitter. I don’t do Facebook. That’s like dramaville central right there! I’m all about my business; I don’t have the time for the nonsense.

LG.  What advice do you have for young women, trying to get in the industry?

Julz.  Be yourself, work hard; don’t get caught up in the hype because it won’t last long. Stay focused, stay motivated, and stay determined. Always have respect for yourself and the project your working on. Never stop believing in yourself because someone told you that you couldn’t do it. That right there should give you every reason in the world to prove them wrong. And most important have fun with the art you are trying to create.
