LG.  Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? (Age, location, how did you get started)

IKL.  I began modeling in '07 after I was encouraged by a model in my class in nursing school. I just thought why not? And have been modeling since. I am originally from the DC area and now reside in New Orleans where my career in modeling took off.

LG.  What's your favorite song right now?

IKL.  Adele - Set fire to the rain 

LG.  What Type of Model would you be considered?

IKL.  I have modeled everything from fashion to high fashion to runway and currently probably pegged a lingerie or urban model which I’m known for mostly.

LG.  What was your first Job?

IKL.  I worked at a grocery called Giant at 15 as a courtesy clerk.

LG.  How do you deal with disappointment?

IKL.  Not too well! LOL I get over it eventually.

LG.  Talk about your strength and weakness in Modeling?

IKL.  I’m not much of a runway model only because I probably don’t walk as well as others and photographers call me a chameleon, which is a plus in modeling.

LG.  What is a big pet peeve of yours from the industry?

IKL.  Being stereo-typed. Many people see Asian and immediately want to put me in a Chinese out fit. lol 

LG.  What’s the secret of you always looking glamorous?

IKL.  Happiness

LG.  Can you tell us some of the challenges that you have come across?

IKL.  I have a lot of haters, and I always see the good in people and I look past all the physical looks, it don’t mean nothing to me. But people see me and think the worst, that I’m probably cocky, arrogant etc. When in actuality I’m far from it.

LG.  What are some of your greatest achievements thus far?

IKL.  Being recognized in my community and being a part of something greater like The Strengthening Cambodian Communities  Project. 

LG.  What is your ultimate goal for your career?

IKL.  Being one the most successful Asian models basically I want to be a household name. But who doesn’t? My only difference it’s not for modeling I want to be known for, but saving the world. 

LG.  What was the craziest experience that you’ve had in the industry?

IKL.  Being scammed into being in some contest. 

LG. Question, all the guys want to know… Are you single?

IKL.  Happily married

LG.  What attracts you about a guy?

IKL.  Confidence aka swag lol but not being afraid to show love

LG.  Tips for men who want to be your Mr. Right?

IKL.  Haha its’ too late
