Im finally back. I ran into an issue that I just had to write about and get OUT. One of my favorite songs is "Bag Lady" by Erykah Badu. I love the song because its real, but as I live and learn I have discovered that those lyrics are not gener specific MEN HAVE BAGGAGE TOO!!!!!! I've met a wonderful man. Actually we met a few years ago, both of us were in serious relationship, but after meeting him I walked away knowing I had met a really special man and that the woman that was in his life had a really great man in her life. Fast forward two years we reconnect, both previous relationships have ended his more recently than mine, but no less messy. We hit it off again, and are really enjoying each others company, but as we get to know each other more, fall deeper in like, his baggage from his previous relationship appears. Its not the messy baby mama drama or the crazy stalker stuff we usually hear about. None the less its baggage thats breaking his spirit. Question how do you deal with the baggage people bring into new situations? I consider myself pretty supportive, but there is only so much input that I can give seeing as though this is a situation that existed before me. Any suggestion?
