What do men want from their mates?

We want to be acknowledged, respected, depended on, satisfied, we want to feel like a man. We want to be the bread winner, we want our wife to stay home and take care of the home and the kids. We want to be successful and supported in our journey.

Example of acknowledged, on Fathers days, birthdays, or any holidays all we want is to be acknowledged. No gifts, just a simple happy something.

Example of respected, our words mean something, we do not want to be discarded. We don't want to feel emasculated.

Example of satisfied, "a women need to be a lady in the streets, a women in the kitchen, and prostitute in the bedroom. "

Example of depended on, we want to be the hero, we want to be the bread winner. We want to feel like a man.

We don't want you to point out the things we don't do, rather we want you to point out the things that we do.

Big Homey why we got to stay at home with the children? Why can't that chore be shared? Thats part of the reason that I have not taken any man serious in my dating history. I run into men who want so desperately for me to be passive. But that wasn't what attracted them to me in the first place. I am following though on the Lady in the streets, woman in the kitchen etc... bit. I am not sure though that I can agree with the not telling you what is being done wrong. I've had a lot of experiences where when I told a man what he had done wrong it made it better for me and him to get along with one another. I believe that if you don't tell him he doesn't know and your stuck being miserable with this man doing things that turn you off or just flat out irritate you to death. I just can't take it. Thats me though.

The funny thing about me and my girls is that they can never get one and I'm always trying to shake one. lol!!

You are right, Chores need to be shared, Communication is a must. I think we need the right amount of everything. Meaning we don't need 90% of talking, 10% of loving.
